Phoenix Elastic Degogue

The Degogue is an extension of the Chambon, working on poll, mouth and girth. It consists of a free running triangle from the girth through the pulleys at the corner of the browband, down through the bit rings and then back to the girth. It may be used on the lunge or in ridden schooling. It is a very effective gadget on most horses, particularly those which drop their backs and raise their necks. The elastic Degogue differs from the traditional degogue in that the rope section is entirely elastic. This prevents the horse from learning to lean on the riders hands. Colours: Black and Brown.
